Andrew started his business advisory journey as a CPA in a small regional accounting practice.  During his time there, he discovered his love of problem solving, as well as finding ways to help business owners have a better business and life – along with making sure their accounting and tax was sorted.

After moving to Brisbane, he joined a global superannuation advice firm as their Queensland regional manager.  In this role, he dealt with hundreds of businesses, and refined his skills in helping business owners.  Following this, he became a business owner himself, being the COO responsible for the significant growth of the Wandoan Accommodation Park in central Queensland.

More recently, he’s been a business advisor, and since 2017 has specialised in the craft brewing and artisanal spirits industries.

Andrew joined SRJ Walker Wayland in early 2023, and brings his strong business and artisanal sector experience to complement SRJ’s significant advisory and compliance capability.

When he isn’t sampling beers at his local indie brewery, he’s Dad to 4 young men, and regularly rediscovers his resilience and negotiating skills as a Rugby referee.
